I originally purchased it because I liked how it wouldn't flatten my behind. It's hard to put on, but I got the hang of it after I put it on two or 3 times. It definitely gives you an hourglass shape, however if you wear it with a tight kind of sheer dress, you can tell that you are wearing it so I've only worn it with dark not sheer dresses. I've tried wearing it with jeans but it doesn't work very well just because the shorts part of it kind of roll up my legs a little bit so you can tell. It's good for loose dresses, but if you don't want it to show, I would suggest buying something else.Date published: 2014-06-21Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Not great for larger and CURVY women. ): I've tried twice with Alexandra. The first time I ordered it WAY too small considering that it is a maximum control item (which I agree. It sucked EVERYTHING IN) and the second I ordered the same size 2XL and it was painful on my thighs and under buttocks while getting it on and off but snug and painless when I finally got it on. You can clearly see that something is pushing your bottom up and you can see where it puts a 'crease' in your lower back and bottom. I really wish it wasn't like that or I would LOVE this item. But no one wants undergarments that people can easily notice. Better luck for this without a huge bottom or thunder thighs. (:Date published: 2013-08-23Rated 2 out of 5 by Tima from Not for me. Awkward. The straps went right over my breasts, so you can imagine how that experience was for me. The midsection was comfy, but the back rolls down without the straps and as you read in my last statement, the straps are uncomfortable so I would I would not use them. The holes in the back part were too big for my bottom so my cheeks just went through the holes with no lifting affect. And I could see the outline of the holes through my pants. *sigh* The leg part was probably the most comfortable part for me. Getting it on was tough.. but once i DID get it on.. it was strangely loose in some areas (bottom and underbust). Im sure it would work well for many, but my body is just not suitable for this. I plan to return and exchange.Date published: 2013-10-27Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from This is awesome! I have always been a small person even after I had my two babies.... With the last baby I did get to keep a couple of inches and maybe 2 of those lbs lol... With that said I've never had much of a butt. I didnt want the butt pad it wanted to just take what I had and lift it. Well I don't know how I lucked up on this site but I ordered the Alexandra butt lifting shaper and couldn't believe how it made me look like I had a butt well I guess I always did it just needed a little help being lifted. I absolutely recommend this!!!Date published: 2014-05-04Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from I already have a big I already have a big bottom but it's more wide than like out so in all honesty I cut the shorts off because it was cutting off the circulation in my butt and thighs but the actual waist and stomach part is amazing. So if you have a big butt you don't need the bottomDate published: 2015-01-09Rated 4 out of 5 by ambar c. from i love it is a i love it is a little tight aroung my thigh are and the thong part is kinda uncomfortable however overall i cant complaint i have used very effective in my butt region i have no problem buying another one i bought 2xl because i weight 10lb more thinking it will be tighther the better however it fit just fine i wish it was a little longer because im tall however it reaches with difficulty my underbust but the the butt lifting it work i didnt know i had that much meat in my area lol i cant complaint i still glance at it from time to time....Date published: 2012-10-17Rated 2 out of 5 by daniela c. from Bad purchase I got this on sale.. bad choice. It's on sale for a reason. Thong is painful. The lines around the butt are really noticeable under jeans. There is always back fat and the location of the straps is the worst.. they are right on your boobs so they split and make even more armpit and back fat. I only continue to wear because of the money I already spent and I only wear it for work under loose fitting dresses an with a jacket or cardigan. 2 stars only cuz material is sturdy. Been using fora few months a few times a week.Date published: 2014-05-01Rated 4 out of 5 by cc from it works! Hello everyone! you should get one size up from your true size. It does rise @ the thighs but it's nothing major, and the top stays in place. The thong hurts so try keep your butt crack lubricated & I took the straps off. I wear it all day & at night I still feel my core holding in when it's offDate published: 2014-03-15
